In preparation for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration scheduled for January 24, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badaruddin Ajmal has advised the Muslim community in Assam to exercise caution, urging them to refrain from train travel from January 20 to 25 to avoid potential untoward incidents.

With expectations of over 60,000 attendees at the consecration ceremony, Ajmal, addressing a political campaign in Assam's Barpeta district, expressed concerns about BJP's extensive plans, including special trains, flights, and buses to bring people to the event.

Ajmal, who represents the minority-dominated Dhubri Lok Sabha constituency, accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being against Islamic beliefs and laws, particularly opposing triple talaq and interfering in religious practices. The AIUDF is actively gearing up to contest three out of 14 Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam during the upcoming general elections.
